Previously I have written how to make a number line with Microsoft Word. Namely by using the table facility. This time I will write back how to make a number line with Microsoft Word using TABLE too, but in a different way from the first. If the way we previously combined TABLE and TEXT BOX, then this time to form the number line we play with TABLE.

Suppose we will make a number line that starts with (-3) and ends with 3, so we need 7 points on the number line to mark the numbers -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3.

Step 1: click insert then select table
To make this number line we only need 2 rows and several columns.
Then the question is how many columns does it take to make 7 points?
The answer is 16 columns
